Tales from a not so sunny day...

Just now I sat down to write something, uncertain of what that something was supposed to be (as always, nothing new to it!) and in matter of split seconds I got wiped out! There are times when I say to myself "yeah...I got to write this on antheia!" but right now I cant even recall what all I planned. Any ways... Ill come up with something to tell.
The sun has decided to shy away behind the clouds here in Delhi and the clouds have conspired to rain every time I forget to carry an umbrella when I step out of the house. Mid semesters are on and today I had my second theory exam on Organisational Behaviour which, believe me,is more of Organisational Mess.... a bunch of funny little Psychologists and top management Experts contradicting each other in their theories! And besides... managing people is never theoretical. Its an art as simple as amusing a bunch kindergarten kids. Besides, adults are no less than children at work are they? As far as the exam is concerned, I did pretty well and my handwriting is gorgeous *giggles* so that should impress the checker!

Actually....in school people thought I got marks for good handwriting alone as I did not seem as intelligent as I was in the back of my mind. I was always the day dreamer scribbling my long princess like name all over text books (my buddy once sat down to count how many times I wrote my name in my books.... average being 5 times a full page!) and chatting away with my girlie buddies. On exam days too I was found making bubbles out of chewing gum instead of revising before entering the hall. That is why my intelligence was not taken to be credible you see.. jokes apart! I am glad I am out of the school phase and I can go about advising kiddos who have their boards this year and every year that passes by! *evil laughter* Its kinda fun giving career advices to lost puppy - like kids! haha...but yeah honestly speaking I don't believe in career counselling whatever you might be good at or where ever your mental abilities lie ... it is not mandatory that you will get inclined to love it. Whatever you choose should be good enough to invest your whole life in doing it and there shouldn't be even a splinter of regret later.(In short I disapprove of the Holland's job-fit personality theory) So better go with instincts combined with a very practical plan. Mark my words on that.

Its been days since I updated you with my latest music obsession....its Ray Charles. He is not new to the world but a new obsession to me. Here is "Georgia on my mind" for you.... if at all it amuses you try and see the movie Ray...

you will see what exactly what I want to say here.

  5. And yes....the checker only checks the paper...the examiner is the one who sets it while the Invigilator monitors the exam hall.
